Flinders Online Student Scholarship 2026

This scholarship has been established following the creation of a dedicated fund by the South Australian government to support disadvantaged students at Flinders University. Its primary purpose is to support students commencing an online course at Flinders University.

Benefits

• Each scholarship will be valued at $1,500 and paid in a single instalment. The number of scholarships available will be determined based on funding each year.

Requirements

Scholarship recipients must be:

• an Australian Citizen, NZ Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, a Permanent Humanitarian visa holder, and
• commencing an eligible Flinders Online course^; and
• enrolled full-time at Flinders University* in Flinders Online topic availabilities; and
• in receipt of means-tested government payments or able to demonstrate financial hardship.

* Recipients who have extenuating circumstances that prevent them from studying full-time (e.g. disabilities, illness, or carer responsibilities) may apply to hold their scholarship part-time subject to the provision of satisfactory independent documentation.

Eligible courses.

Selection Process

• The Scholarship selection will be made based on academic merit. Selection of the candidate(s) will be made following procedures approved by the Director, Student Administration.
