2026 Dr Merab Tauman Memorial Scholarship in Economics at UWA

The late Dr Merab Tauman bequeathed funds to The University of Western Australia ('the University') to provide a scholarship to support high-achieving students undertaking their third year of undergraduate study with a major in Economics.

Requirements

• To be eligible to apply for a scholarship, an applicant must—
• have completed at least 96 points towards an undergraduate degree course; and
• be enrolled—

             (i) full-time unless the selection body is satisfied that there are exceptional circumstances1 which preclude full-time enrolment; and
             (ii) in an undergraduate degree course with a major in Economics.

(Exceptional circumstances include, but are not limited to, a medical condition or major family commitments)
