Benefits
- Cash payments of up to $10,000 per year for three years or $7500 per year for four years. Total scholarship value of $30,000.
Requirements
Ensure you meet all criteria before submitting an application. If you've already submitted an equity schemes and scholarships application through VTAC, you'll automatically be considered for this scholarship – there's no need to reapply for this scholarship direct to Deakin.
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be:
- a domestic student
- commencing a bachelor degree at Deakin Warrnambool campus (on-campus studies) in Trimester/Semester 1,2027
- enrolled full-time in a Commonwealth support place (CSP), unless there are individual circumstances preventing full-time study
- experiencing financial hardship affecting your studies.
Selection Process
Preference will be given to students who reside in the City of Warrnambool, the Moyne Shire or South West Victoria, or students studying the Bachelor of Marine Science.

- If you've already submitted an equity schemes and scholarships application through VTAC, you'll automatically be considered for this scholarship – there's no need to reapply direct to Deakin.
- Alternatively, register and log in to Deakin's Scholarship Application Portal, then select 'Undergraduate Scholarship Application Tri/Sem 1 2027'. If eligible, your application will be considered for this scholarship and any others you may be eligible for.
