Requirements
To be eligible you must:
- be a new international student enrolling in a Deakin degree
- meet the entry requirements for your program, including English language requirements
- meet the minimum academic requirements outlined below:
- Undergraduate degree: have achieved at least a 65% average (or equivalent) in previous studies.
- Postgraduate degree: Have achieved at least a 65% average (or equivalent) in previous studies. Applicants who are citizens of India and residing in India are eligible with a minimum 60% average (or equivalent).
Conditions of eligibility
- All conditions must be met, and the scholarship is conditional upon acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined in the acceptance form.
- Additional fees may apply. The scholarship will not cover study beyond the standard program duration, including extra or repeated units.
This scholarship does not apply to some Health programs that have limited places.

- If you meet the eligibility criteria, you will be automatically receive a 20% fee reduction to the total indicative tuition fee stated in your offer letter.
- This will be applied to your student record after the census date.
