Benefits
A cash payment of $7,500 per year ($937.50 per credit point).
Requirements
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- Be a domestic student
- Have completed Year 12 at a Deakin under-represented Victorian school in 2025
- Be commencing at Deakin University in an undergraduate bachelor degree in Trimester/Semester 1 2026
- Be enrolled full time unless there are individual circumstances preventing full-time study
- Be enrolled in a Commonwealth supported place (CSP).
Selection Process
To retain this scholarship you must:
- Maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of at least 70
- oCnsent to being publicly acknowledged as a recipient of the Deakin 50th Anniversary Excellence Scholarship and consent to be involved in media activity upon accepting the scholarship offer
- Complete a yearly impact statement for the duration of the scholarship
- Not hold this scholarship concurrently with any other scholarship offered by Deakin University.
