Benefits

A cash payment of $7,500 per year ($937.50 per credit point).

Requirements

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

• Be a domestic student
• Have completed Year 12 at a Deakin under-represented Victorian school in 2025
• Be commencing at Deakin University in an undergraduate bachelor degree in Trimester/Semester 1 2026
• Be enrolled full time unless there are individual circumstances preventing full-time study
• Be enrolled in a Commonwealth supported place (CSP).

Selection Process

To retain this scholarship you must:

• Maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of at least 70
• oCnsent to being publicly acknowledged as a recipient of the Deakin 50th Anniversary Excellence Scholarship and consent to be involved in media activity upon accepting the scholarship offer
• Complete a yearly impact statement for the duration of the scholarship
• Not hold this scholarship concurrently with any other scholarship offered by Deakin University.
