Curtin University Global Talent Scholarship 2025

A dedicated scholarship for international students that have commenced their studies at one of Curtin’s global campuses and wish to transfer to the Curtin Perth, Western Australian campus for the remaining duration of their degree. Curtin University acknowledges the importance of giving students access to a truly global education that prepares them for success in an interconnected world. This scholarship provides eligible students a one-off credit of AUD$10,000 against the tuition fee of the course they are undertaking.

Benefits

This scholarship provides eligible students a one-off credit of AUD$10,000 against the tuition fee of the course they are undertaking.

Requirements

This scholarship is only for:

• International, fee-paying, non-sponsored students of any nationality except Australian; and
• Have commenced at one of Curtin’s global campuses, enrolled in a Curtin undergraduate or postgraduate degree course; and
• Will be studying at a Curtin Western Australian campus (WA Campus) commencing in a study period from July 2025 onwards; and
• Will be studying at least one year in duration (minimum of 200 credits) at Curtin WA Campus.

Please note that this scholarship:

• Provides a one-off credit of AUD$10,000 against the tuition fee
• Only covers tuition fees and does not cover any other international student expense
• Will be credited to recipient’s fee account after census date of the first study period at Curtin WA Campus
• Cannot be withdrawn or refunded in cash
• Can be revoked at the discretion of Curtin if recipient already has a scholarship or sponsorship
• Can be revoked if the recipient does not accept their Letter of Offer or enrol in their course by the date specified
• Cannot be retained if a recipient defers their studies beyond a 2026 start date
• Cannot be transferred to a Curtin campus or partner outside Western Australia, or to another university
• Will not be extended beyond its prescribed amount

To accept this scholarship offer, you must pay the full Deposit amount (the Deposit stated on your Letter of Offer) for your Course when you accept your Offer.
As there are limited number of Scholarship available, Curtin reserves the right to cease offering this Scholarship if you do not accept by the due date stated on the Letter of Offer. You will be formally notified if the Scholarship is no longer valid or withdrawn.

Selection Process

• Merit Based

To prevent the scholarship being revoked, the recipient:

• Must maintain enrolment as an international full fee paying and non-sponsored student during the Scholarship. If your citizenship changes during the Scholarship period, the Scholarship will only be applied to the units you completed as an international student.
• Must maintain an academic status of ‘Good Standing’ at the time of application up until your commencement in the WA Campus.
• Must maintain full-time enrolment each study period during the Scholarship.
• Cannot take Leave of Absence or withdraw from the Course during the Scholarship period.
• Must abide by Curtin’s policies and procedures, Student Charter and not be found guilty of serious misconduct.
• Cannot breach the scholarship conditions outlined in the offer acceptance document

Application Deadline

How To Apply

There is no separate scholarship application required. Students are invited to apply for the Curtin course through one of Curtin University registered education agents OR apply directly to Curtin online 
All qualifying applications to Curtin are automatically assessed for the Curtin Global Talent Scholarship. Global Admissions will assess each application accordingly and issue a supplementary letter, along with a Letter of Offer, to confirm whether the applicant has been successful.
