This scholarship provides eligible students a one-off credit of AUD$10,000 against the tuition fee of the course they are undertaking.
Requirements
This scholarship is only for:
- International, fee-paying, non-sponsored students of any nationality except Australian; and
- Are enrolled in a Curtin undergraduate degree course or Master degree by coursework; and
- Will be studying at a Curtin Western Australian campus (WA Campus) commencing in a study period from July 2025 onwards; and
- Will be studying at least 1.5 years (minimum of 300 credits) at the WA Campus; and
- Achieved a Credit level or equivalent Course-Weighted-Average in your most recent and eligible course of study.
Please note that this scholarship:
- Provides a one-off credit of AUD$10,000 against the tuition fee.
- Only covers tuition fees and does not cover any other international student expense.
- Will be credited to recipient’s fee account after census date of the first study period.
- Can be revoked if recipient receives Credit for Recognition Learning (CRL) and no longer meet the eligibility criteria, or Underload in their enrolment during the Scholarship term.
- Cannot be withdrawn or refunded in cash.
- Can be revoked at the discretion of Curtin if recipient already has a scholarship or sponsorship.
- Can be revoked if the recipient does not accept their Letter of Offer or enrol in their course by the date specified.
- Cannot be retained if the recipient defers their studies beyond a 2025 start date.
- Cannot be transferred to a Curtin campus or partner outside Western Australia, or to another university.
To accept this scholarship offer, you must pay the full Deposit amount set out in your Letter of Offer for the first study period of your Course.
As there are limited number of Scholarship available, Curtin reserves the right to cease offering this Scholarship if you do not accept by the due date stated on the Letter of Offer. You will be formally notified if the Scholarship is no longer valid or withdrawn.
Enrolment Requirements
To prevent the scholarship being revoked, the recipient:
- Must maintain enrolment as an international full fee paying and non-sponsored student during the Scholarship. If your citizenship changes during the Scholarship period, the Scholarship will only be applied to the units you completed as an international student.
- Must maintain an academic status of ‘Good Standing’. Your academic progress will be reviewed each study period and continuation of the Scholarship is subject to maintaining good academic standing at all times.
- Must maintain full-time enrolment (as per study plan in the course structure) in each study period during the Scholarship.
- Cannot take Leave of Absence or withdraw from the Course.
- Must abide by Curtin's policies and procedures, Student charter and not be found guilty of serious misconduct.
- Cannot breach the scholarship terms and conditions outlined in their acceptance document. Where scholarship is revoked, you will be responsible for any outstanding fees.

- There is no separate scholarship application required. Students are invited to apply for the Curtin course through one of Curtin University registered education agents OR apply directly to Curtin online
- All qualifying applications to Curtin are automatically assessed for the Curtin Global Future Leaders Scholarship. Global Admissions will assess each application accordingly and issue a supplementary letter, along with a Letter of Offer, to confirm whether the applicant has been successful.
