Curtin University 2026 - Semester 1 - Curtin Rural WA Medical School Scholarship

The Curtin Rural WA Medical School Scholarship (Scholarship) has been developed by Curtin University to support students who are required to relocate from a regional or remote area of Western Australia to undertake the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and are experiencing financial hardship.

Benefits

• A total value of up to $25,000 paid as a cash stipend of $2,500 per semester.

Requirements

• Domestic student (Australian or New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident, Permanent Humanitarian visa)
• Selected Curtin University as a first preference through TISC or apply direct to Curtin to undertake the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 2026
• Receive a course offer into the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at Curtin University in 2026
• Relocating from a regional and/or remote area of WA to commence study
• Demonstrate financial hardship and low socio-economic status (SES)
• Accept the course offer by the course offer lapse date
