Charles Sturt University Transgrid Engineering Scholarship 2025

The Transgrid Engineering Scholarship fund will support 100 Charles Sturt engineering students over four cohorts with $20,000 each over four years. All students applying to study engineering at Charles Sturt are encouraged to apply for these scholarships and the funds can be spent however it's needed - whether that's the costs associated with your study, living expenses or learning resources.

Requirements

Please note: You are able to apply for this scholarship prior to receiving an offer to study.

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

1. Be an Australian citizen, a New Zealand citizen, a permanent Australian resident or a student with an Australian permanent or humanitarian visa.
2. Be a commencing or first-year student, applying for the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) post census 2026 (deferral not permitted). Students must be enrolled in first-year subjects at census date 2026 to be eligible. Students are encouraged to apply for this scholarship before or upon receiving an offer for the above course.
3. Have applied for or successfully obtained a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) in the above course.

Preference may also be given to First Nations students, women looking to enter the STEM industry, and regional students.

Interview Dates and Process

• Applications will be assessed in accordance with the eligibility criteria and supporting documentation.
• Applications with incorrect or no supporting documentation will be deemed ineligible.
• You may be assessed as eligible but not receive an offer due to quota restrictions.
• There are no interviews required.
