Bond University Leadership Scholarship 2025

Our Leadership Scholarships aim to recognise current Year 12 students who have outstanding leadership experience and community involvement with a partial-fee tuition remission scholarship.

Leadership Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate high academic achievement, as well as outstanding leadership skills and community achievements.

As a Leadership Scholar, you will be awarded with 25% tuition remission for any single or approved combined undergraduate degree (excluding the Bond Medical Program and Diploma entry students), and can commence at Bond in either the January, May or September semester.

Requirements

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must: 

  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or an Australian permanent resident currently completing Year 12 (or equivalent) inside or outside of Australia OR An Australian or an Australian permanent resident?completing high school outside Australia?OR?International students completing Year 12 (or equivalent) in Australia.
  • Achieve a minimum of ATAR 84.00 or IB Diploma 30.
  • Hold outstanding leadership, community and extra-curricular?achievements, both at school and within the community.  You will be asked to provide evidence of all achievements as supporting documents in your scholarship application.
  • Meet the standard entry requirements for your chosen program of study. 

Application Documents

As Leadership Scholarship applicant, you will be required to submit the following documents as part of your scholarship application:

  • Evidence of your leadership, initiative, and service to your school and/or community. It is a COMPULSORY component of your application to use our Summary of Achievements template to present this evidence. You will need to complete all sections of the template provided and upload it as one Word or PDF document, to your scholarship application. 
    Your application CANNOT be considered if you provide your evidence in any other form, such as a personal CV or resume. 
     
  • Completion of the Bond University Leadership Scholarship Supporting Document. This should be uploaded as a supporting document to the scholarship application form and all leadership achievements/experience must be supported through evidence (e.g. references, certificates, photos).
     
  • Academic responses to two questions. Your responses should be entered into your scholarship application where prompted. We suggest drafting your responses in a Word document first and then copying and pasting them into the relevant fields in your application:
    1.    Success means different things for different students. In your opinion, what do you think success at university means? Write a 250-word academic response using first person language. Do not include research, quotes or referencing and do not use generative AI, such as ChatGPT.
    2.    Working in teams can be challenging. Reflect on when you have worked in a team either at school or outside school, analyse what difficulties were faced and explain what you have learned from the experience. Write a 250-word academic response using first person language. Do not include research, quotes or referencing and do not use generative AI, such as ChatGPT.
     
  • A school reference. As part of your application, you will be asked to provide your career advisor's details, so please have these on hand. We will follow-up with them directly to request a reference.

If you meet the eligibility criteria for this scholarship, we encourage you to apply by following the below steps:

  1. Complete the Bond University Study Application Form to lodge your application for your chosen program. Learn more about this process. 
  2. Complete the Bond University Scholarship Application Form. Simply use the same log-in details as used for your study application and enter 'scholarship' in the keyword field on the 'Start an Application' tab.  

You must complete and submit your scholarship application before the application closing date as no late scholarship applications will be considered!
