The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide financial support to international or domestic postgraduate students enrolled in study and research relating to mental health issues. Applicants may be enrolled in any research program within the ANU College of Health and Medicine (CHM). Their research program should have meaningful and real application to the daily lives of people with a mental illness and/or the people who care for them.
The scholarship is valued at $5,000. The funds may be used for, but are not limited to, equipment purchase, research study fees, research study related travel expenses, fieldwork expenses such as for survey recruitment, textbooks, conference travel and associated accommodation and registration costs, or journal publication costs. The Scholarship is not to be expended on stipend or salary and the expenditure must be related to applicant's program of research.
