- This scholarship is valued at $5,000, to be paid in one lump sum.
Requirements
This scholarship is open to applicants who meet all of the following criteria:
- Citizenship: Domestic
- Faculty: Health Science
- Course: Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
- Campus: Melbourne
- Study load: full-time in Semester 1, 2026
- Has faced impediments to accessing higher education. This may include but is not limited to:
- Being from a low- income, single parent family,
- Identifying as Autism Spectrum Disorder or Attention Deficit Disorder
- Having carer responsibilities,
- Having medical issues or a disability,
- Being from a refugee background,
- Being a resident in a regional, rural or remote location (as classified by the ASGS Remoteness Areas (2021))
Selection Process
The recipient will be selected by the Scholarships Office.
Applications are assessed on the strength of the following criteria:
- Written statement
- Barriers to accessing tertiary education
Preference will be given to applicants 25 years of age and over.
