Requirements
You're eligible if you:
- identify as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community;
- are or will be enrolled in an Approved Program in the semester of the award;
- can demonstrate financial hardship by providing documentary evidence;
- can demonstrate commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community; and
- have not previously received the scholarship.
Selection Process
The University of Queensland will consider:
- evidence of identifying as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community;
- evidence of financial hardship;
- demonstrated commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community; and
- academic achievement.
Application Documents
You will need to include supporting documentation that demonstrates your eligibility, such as:
- references to support commitment to LGBTQIA+ communities
- most recent Centrelink Allowance Statement (Youth Allowance, ABSTUDY etc)
- Australian Taxation Office Assessment Notice, for the previous financial year, and/or evidence of income from other sources
- current academic transcript/studies report, secondary studies results
- any other evidence you feel supports your application.
