This scholarship has been established to support a student undertaking a part time or full time Bachelor of Arts (on campus or online) or Arts (Honours) student, who demonstrate similar qualities of Tracey Banivanua Mar, to be a voice for 'their people:' communities and nations across the Pacific, women everywhere fighting for autonomy and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Requirements
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:
- be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or New Zealand citizen
- be enrolled full or part time in the Bachelor of Arts (or associated double degree) in Semester 1 2026 (studying online, on campus or both) OR
- be enrolled full or part time in the Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Semester 1 2026 (studying online, on campus or both)
- be Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and/or Pacific Island descent
- have achieved a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 65 or above
