Monash International Tuition Scholarships (MITS) are provided by Monash University to support international students undertaking Research Doctorate and Research Masters degrees at a Monash campus in Australia. A MITS covers the course tuition fees that would otherwise be payable by the student.

Benefits
Monash International Tuition Scholarship covers the cost of:
- course tuition fees; and
- a single Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) policy.
Requirements
You must be one of the following:
You must meet the following criteria:
- meet Monash's competitive scholarship selection process requirements, and
- meet Monash's English language proficiency requirements.
This scholarship is also available to students undertaking Joint Research Awards when Monash University is the home institution.
Selection Process
- Monash scholarships are highly competitive and are awarded based on academic excellence, research outputs and prior research experience.
- If you are awarded a MITS, it's important to familiarise yourself with the associated conditions and benefits as outlined in the policy and procedures.

- Graduate research scholarships applications are submitted at the same time as your course application, unless you are already enrolled. Whether you are a new applicant or a current student, the myApp Portal is used for both course admission and scholarship applications. You do not need to select specific scholarships, eligible applicants are automatically considered for all available graduate research scholarships.
