Benefits
- This scholarship is for up to three years with a total maximum of $30,000. Payments will be $10,000 annually for future full-time enrolment and pro rata for future part-time enrolment.
Requirements
Applicants applying for this scholarship must:
- Be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia.
- Be enrolled in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of a Bachelor of Engineering Systems (Honours) at Southern Cross University.
- Be enrolled in either full-time or part-time study, in either on-campus or online delivery mode.
- Identify as Female.
- Achieve a minimum of a pass average across all subjects during the course of study.
Note: Students may also be offered to complete a period of paid work experience as negotiated with Essential Energy if they wish to.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on:
- A personal introductory statement (100-200 words) that includes why they are applying for the scholarship and what they hope to achieve in the future through the completion of their chosen area of study.
- Candidate’s previous academic history or other meritorious achievements may be considered as part of the selection process.
