2026 Carol Friday Master of Nursing Bursary at La Trobe University Australia

In honour of Carol Friday, who passed away in tragic circumstances with her son, the Department of Health is dedicating this bursary for Maternal and Child Health nurses to undertake a Master of Nursing degree.

Requirements

• Be an Australian citizen, holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa
• Be registered as both a Division 1 nurse and midwife with AHPRA (without restrictions)
• Have completed a postgraduate qualification in Child, Family and Community Nursing
• Be enrolled in the Master of Nursing in Semester 1 2026
• Have a high WAM in previous and current studies
