Created in memory of Anthea Jane Wilson and her dedication to nursing, especially emergency care, this scholarship supports postgraduate nursing students at Deakin who are facing financial hardship. Established by Anthea’s parents, it honours her passion while helping the next generation of nurses thrive.

Benefits
- To be confirmed. This scholarship will be paid directly against your tuition fees.
- This scholarship is awarded for one or two years, depending on the normal full-time duration of your course. Two years for a Graduate Diploma and one year for a Graduate Certificate.
Requirements
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be:
- a domestic student
- commencing in Semester 1, 2026 in one of the following degrees:
- Graduate Certificate of Emergency Nursing (H566)
- Graduate Diploma of Emergency Nursing (H666)
- Graduate Certificate of Intensive Care Nursing (H545)
- Graduate Diploma of Intensive Care Nursing (H645)
- Graduate Certificate of Cardiac Nursing (H565)
- Graduate Diploma of Cardiac Nursing (H665)
- Graduate Certificate of Critical Care Nursing (H567)
- Graduate Diploma of Critical Care Nursing (H667)
- experiencing financial hardship affecting your studies.
Selection Process
Preference for a student:
- enrolled in a Graduate Diploma
- able to demonstrate financial disadvantage through the receipt of a Centrelink benefit or have a personal or family taxable income below the threshold determined by the University.
