SUPRAs are awarded to students of exceptional research potential undertaking doctoral studies. The awards are provided to assist with general living costs. Tuition fees are also covered by the award.

Benefits

• Annual stipend $34,700 (indexed) (2025 rate) for three years (with possible 6 month extension).
• Tuition fee scholarship for up to four years.

Requirements

• SUPRA scholarships are available to both future and current students enrolled in or applying for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Professional Doctorate course at Swinburne.
