2025 and 2026 ECU Travel Bursary for Displaced U.S.-Bound Students

This $2,000 bursary supports eligible new international students commencing a full ECU degree in Semester 2, 2025 or Semester 1, 2026, who have been impacted by U.S. student visa processing delays. The bursary is intended to assist with travel and relocation costs and will be paid after census date in the student’s first semester.

Requirements

To be eligible for this bursary you must:

  • be an international student (not an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or New Zealand Citizen) on a Subclass 500 International Student Visa;
  • be commencing a full ECU degree (Bachelor, Master by Coursework, Master by Research, or PhD) for the first time in Semester 2, 2025 or Semester 1, 2026;
  • not be in receipt of a government scholarship or industry sponsorship for your studies;
  • be enrolled to study on-campus at ECU (Joondalup, Mount Lawley, or ECU City);and
  • provide evidence with your course application of either:
    - a submitted application to a U.S. education institution, or 
    - an offer letter from a U.S. education institution
